Cynthia Blessum
Vigil Honor
Mrs. Blessum is a Vigil Honor member of Cahuilla Lodge. She has been a volunteer in the California Inland Empire Council for over 20 years. Serving the unit, district and council. She joined Cahuilla Lodge in 2004 and has since served in various chapter, lodge and section positions prior to returning to the position of Lodge Adviser in 2024. Outside of scouting she is a consultant for In Vitro Diagnostics/Medical Device product development.
John McGlynn
Vigil Honor
John was inducted into Ordeal membership in Spe-Le-Yai Lodge 249 at Stetson Creek Ranch in 1977, and completed his induction with Brotherhood membership the following year. As a youth John was a member Ceremonies Team and AIA. John served as Lodge Treasurer, Vice Chief, and Lodge Chief. While serving as Lodge Chief, John was awarded the Vigil Honor in 1982 at Camp Verdugo Oaks, and later received the Lodge’s inaugural Founders Award. As an adult John served as the adviser to the Ceremonies Chair for Spe-Le-Yai in 2006. In 2019 John joined Puvunga Lodge 32 and served as an Elangomat in 2019, Adviser to the Ceremonies Chair in 2020-2022, and Adviser to the Vice-Chief of
Program for 2023.
Becca Daniels
Vigil Honor
Mrs. Daniels is a Vigil Honor member of Wiatava Lodge. She was a Venturer as a youth in Orange County, where she earned her Venturing Silver Award. She has worked 12 summer seasons at Lost Valley, as well as several seasons at The IROEC. She joined Wiatava in 2012, and has since served in Chapter and Lodge Associate Adviser roles prior to becoming Lodge Adviser in 2023. Outside of scouting, she is a teacher in La Habra.
